Prerequisites
Mandatory Prerequisites¶
Before proceeding with the EMR Serverless setup, make sure the following prerequisites are met:

| Privacera DataServer | Base installation for Privacera DataServer is installed and configured. Refer here for installation to install DataServer |
| AWS environment configuration | Confirm that your AWS environment is configured to support EMR Serverless deployment within your VPC. |
| Docker image | Ability to create Docker images with the Privacera plugin and configurations to extend the Docker image from EMR Serverless. |
| IAM permissions | Ensure that you have the necessary IAM permissions to manage customized Docker image in your Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR). |
