Trino¶
Overview¶
Trino is a highly scalable, open-source distributed SQL query engine designed for running fast, interactive analytic queries across various data sources. It allows users to query data from multiple systems such as S3, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and many others, using a single query engine. By using connectors, Trino enables seamless integration with these heterogeneous data sources, making it easier to analyze data without moving it. Each connector in Trino is tailored to interface with a specific data source, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing through optimized queries.
