Different Ways to Scan¶
There are two ways scanning can be triggered in Privacera Discovery:¶

Offline Scan: Scans initiated manually by the user. The user selects the data source and starts the scan. The scan is performed on the selected data source, and the results are displayed to the user.

Realtime Scan: Scans initiated automatically by the system. The system monitors the data source for changes and automatically initiates a scan when a change is detected.
