Admin Audits of Access Management¶
Admin Audits track all administrative actions performed in Privacera, such as policy creation, modification, and deletion. This also includes changes to user roles, groups, tags and other configurations.
Admin Audit Fields¶
The Admin Audit logs are generated by Privacera and are stored in the Privacera Audit database. The format of the admin audit logs is:
Field | Description |

Operation | Audit log with the details |
Audit type | Type of operation performed (e.g., Ranger Policy). This field might not be always present in the audit logs. |
User | User who performed the operation |
Date | Date and time when the operation was performed |
Action | Action performed (e.g., CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE) |
Session ID | Session ID of the user who performed the operation. This might not be always present |
Accessing Admin Audits¶
Admin Audits can be accessed from the Privacera UI.
In Self Managed, the Admin Audits can be accessed from Access Management > Audits > Admin.
