Prerequisites for Access Management with the Dremio Connector¶
Before integrating Dremio with Privacera, ensure that the necessary setup is in place. This includes required Dremio users, roles, and configurations needed by the PolicySync connector. The following are the key prerequisites for setting up the Dremio connector with Privacera:

| Dremio API URL | Get the Dremio API URL for the Dremio cluster. |
| JDBC URL | Get the JDBC URL for the Dremio cluster. |
| JDBC username and password | Create a Dremio user with admin privileges that will be used exclusively by the Privacera Connector to manage access permissions. |
| Space, Virtual/Physical dataset | Specify the Space, Virtual/Physical dataset names to be managed. Initially, enable access management for a test space. Once you have tested all use cases, you can manage all objects in your Dremio cluster. |
| Principal Identification | The Privacera users and groups whose permissions in Dremio will be managed by the connector. |
