Add Customer's Prometheus to Privacera Grafana

If you want to add your self-hosted Prometheus instance to Privacera Grafana, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the Privacera Grafana instance using admin username and password.
  2. Go to Connections → Add new connection.
  3. Search for and select Prometheus as the data source, then click Add new data source.
  4. On the New data source settings page, enter the required details:
    • Name: Enter a name for the data source. Example: prod-prometheus
    • Prometheus server URL: Enter the Prometheus instance URL you want to connect to Grafana.
    • Fill in any other required fields.
  5. Click Save & Test.
  6. Ensure the test connection is successful.
    • If the test fails, verify your details and try again.
  7. After completing the setup, open an existing Grafana dashboard.
  8. Select the newly created Prometheus data source.
  9. Verify that the data is displayed correctly.
