Prerequisites for Privacera Custom Encryptor

Before using the Privacera Custom Encryptor, ensure the following:

  • Privacera PEG service is up and running. Refer to Privacera Encryption.

  • Encryption schemes are created and managed in Privacera. Refer to Privacera Schemes Overview.

  • Integration user with protect/unprotect and getScheme permissions is configured for PEG.

For Self Managed, follow the steps in Setup for Privacera Encryptor to obtain the encryption package from your Privacera Manager host and then continue.
