Overview

This page lists what you need before using Privacera Data Governance — including its Data Catalog, Tags and Metadata, Data Products, and Policy Authoring features.

Availability

Data Governance — including Policy Authoring — is currently available in PrivaceraCloud, in Data Plane deployments, and on the Runtime Plane (Self-Managed and Partially Managed (D2P)). It is not supported in Self-Managed deployments managed with Privacera Manager.

Prerequisites

Prerequisite Detail
Deployment PrivaceraCloud, Data Plane, and Runtime Plane (Self-Managed and D2P). Data Governance is not supported in Self-Managed deployments managed with Privacera Manager.
Data Governance Contact Privacera Support to enable this feature for your PrivaceraCloud tenant.
Connectors You need at least one connector that supports Data Governance: a PolicySync connector with Omni Mode enabled, or an Omni Connector on a Runtime Plane.
