Release Notes
PrivaceraCloud and Privacera Self-Managed follow separate release schedules. The table below lists the latest release notes for each deployment type. In the Applicability column, the SM badge represents Self-Managed deployments. The combination of Cloud + SM indicates that the release is available for both PrivaceraCloud and Self-Managed environments.
Upgrading Self-Managed and Data Plane releases¶
You can generally upgrade directly from the previous version to the latest version within the same major version. However, if any Rolling Releases in between contain breaking changes, you must apply the upgrade instructions from those release notes before proceeding to the latest version.
The upgrade process requires two steps: first upgrade Privacera Manager, then upgrade the Privacera product packages. You will also need the version tags for the latest release, which you can obtain from your Privacera Customer Experience Representative or Privacera Support. For details, see Upgrading Privacera.
Breaking Changes
If any previous release versions contain breaking changes (
), you must follow the upgrade instructions in those release notes before upgrading to the latest version. Skipping this step may cause your upgrade to fail. For more information, see What are breaking changes?

End of support
End of support for each version is 12 months after the release date. For older versions, see the end-of-life policy.
