Data Products: Platform-Agnostic Logical Data Abstraction¶

Added Data Products capability in Governance Hub to create platform-agnostic, business-aligned logical views of data.

• Enables organizations to define reusable data products (e.g., Customer Data, Health Claims) that can be accessed consistently across different underlying data platforms without data copying.
• Supports creating, publishing, and managing data products with asset management, search, and filter capabilities.
• Automatically creates default tags and ranger roles for published data products to support access control.
• Policies are dynamically applied through Privacera's policy engine based on data attributes and context. For more information, see Data Products.

Enhanced Dropdown: Total Counts Added for Tag Definitions and Columns¶

The tag definition/column dropdown now includes a footer indicating how many columns are displayed out of the total available.

Introduced detailed policy insights in Data Catalog permissions.¶

Users can now open a policy details view from permission entries to see which policies impact access to a resource and how they affect permissions.

Privacera Portal CVE Fixes¶

Upgraded Privacera Portal to Java 21 and updated core dependencies to remediate identified security vulnerabilities.

Updated Row Level Filter Merging Logic with Omni¶

The updated RLF (Row Level Filter) merging follows these rules:

• Same Column → OR: If multiple RLF expressions refrence the same column for the same principal, they are merged using the OR operator.
• Different Columns → AND: If RLF expressions reference different columns for the same principal, they are merged using the AND operator.

Enhanced Support for Data Products and Purpose-Based Access Control with Omni¶

• Enhanced the connector to support Data Products and purpose-based access control, enabling organizations to define and enforce purpose-specific policies.

Data Admin Permission Based Exclusion from RLF Policies with Omni¶

• Added support for Data Admin permission based exclusion of principals from RLF policies, providing a cleaner and more flexible way to configure privileged principals for whom RLF policies should be ignored.
