Advanced Role and Tag-Based Policy Enforcement¶

• Role-Based Attribute Enforcement – Supports policy decisions based on dynamic role attributes instead of static role assignments.
• Tag-Based Row-Level Filtering – Evaluates tag mappings to apply context-aware row-level access rules. Available for Snowflake and Databricks Unity Catalog connectors only with OMNI.
• OR-Based RLF Merge Logic – Combines multiple row-level filters using OR conditions to simplify and expand permitted access paths. Available for Snowflake and Databricks Unity Catalog connectors only with OMNI.

Enhanced Synchronization and Access Control¶

• Sync Agent Integration – Added automated sync to metadata-service to keep catalog and tags up to date in real time.
• Role-Based Attribute Support – Connectors now interpret role attributes directly for access enforcement without external mappings.
• Tag-Based Row-Level Filtering – Row-level filters can now be derived directly from assigned tags for dynamic data visibility. Available for Snowflake and Databricks Unity Catalog connectors only with OMNI.
• RLF OR-Condition Merging – Multiple row-level filters can now be merged using OR logic to support broader conditional access scenarios. Available for Snowflake and Databricks Unity Catalog connectors only with OMNI.
• OMNI MetadataTagEnricher – This is a new tag enricher which will pull the tags and resources from OMNI and is used for policy evaluation.

Centralized Catalog and Tag Governance Improvements¶

• Centralized Tag & Catalog Governance – Maintains authoritative metadata for schemas, tables, tags, and resource attributes.
• Improved Tag Exposure for Policy Engines – Ensures tags are consistently surfaced for access control decisions.
• Enhanced Policy & Permission Visibility – Provides clearer views of policies and role/resource mapping for audit and debugging.

Diagnostics Client Build Fixes¶

Fixed a build failure in the Diagnostics Client by adding a required dependency to ensure pipeline stability.
