Working with the Dashboard#
Interface#
The interface consists of the following sections:

Use this section to navigate through the dashboard.
- Dashboard: Click this button to access the dashboard.
- Privacera services: Click this button to view all the Privacera services that are configured.
- Cloud services: Click this button to view all the cloud services that are configured.
- Import & Export: Click this button to do a global import/export of the environment configuration.
- System Settings: Click this button to add/remove/modify a Privacera cloud service configuration.

Use this section to view all the installation operations run recently.
- Use this section to view when a Privacera service configuration was last updated.
- Use this section to access the Privacera services using their corresponding URLs.
Dashboard#
The Dashboard interface provides the following information:

Recent Operations: This shows the recent history of all the jobs that were run on the Privacera services. Status of each job is displayed whether it was completed successfully, or interrupted using the Abort or Skip button.

Config History: This shows the history of those services whose configuration was recently changed.

Quick Links: This allows access to the web interface of a Privacera service by clicking its corresponding service URL. By default, you can access the interface of following Privacera services:

Portal: Use the username/password (padmin/padmin) to log in to Portal.

Solr
-
Ranger Admin: Use the username/password (admin/welcome1) to log in to Ranger Admin.

Restart All Services: Use
button to restart all the Privacera services.
Note
Restarting the Privacera services does not apply any changes done in the property configuration. You will have to run the install to apply the configuration changes. To install, go to System Settings > Install and click Install & Start Services.
Privacera Services#
The following interface is displayed when you click a Privacera service:
Use the buttons to start/stop/restart a service. To check the logs of the action, click
button.
Use the following two tabs:
Summary
This tab provides you with the following:
- Status of the service whether it is running/stopped.
- Quick link for accessing a Privacera service. Its available for the following three services: Portal, Solr and Ranger
- Service Check button to verify if the service is online/offline.
Config
This tab allows you to edit the properties of a configuration depending on the type of service you've selected.
- Default Services: To edit a configuration of a Default service, refer to Configure Default Service.
- Access Manager: To edit a configuration of a Access Manager service, refer to Configure Access Manager.
- Discovery: To edit a configuration of a Discovery service, refer to Configure Discovery.
- Encryption and Masking: To edit a configuration of a Encryption and Masking service, refer to Configure Encryption and Masking.
Note
If you modify any property in the Config section, run the installation again for the changes to take effect. To do that, click System Settings > Install and then click Install & Start Services.
Cloud Services#
All services related to the cloud platform are listed here. You can edit the configuration for each services in this section.

Import and Export#
- Import Configuration: Click this button to browse a JSON configuration file and import it.
- Export Configuration: Click this button to export a JSON configuration file.
System Settings#
To access the installation wizard, click this button. You can add/remove/modify the Privacera products and services and run the installation again.
Note
You will not be able to change environment name, cloud platform and installation type, once you've already installed Privacera products and services.
