Create CloudFormation Stack

  1. Login to the AWS Console and go to the CloudFormation Service.

  2. On the CloudFormation page, click Create Stack from the upper-right corner and select With new resources (standard) option.

  3. In the Create stack view under the Specify template section, choose the Upload a template file option.

  4. Click Choose file, then browse & select and upload the CloudFormation template. Supported file formats are JSON and YAML.

  5. Click Next.

    • Enter the stack name and fill in the required information in the Parameters section based on the information and examples provided.

  6. Click Next.

    • Enter the additional information as per the requirements and go to Create the Stack.

      You will see the progress of your stack in the CloudFormation > Stacks section.
