SSO Troubleshooting - Self-Managed¶
This guide assists in resolving common issues during SSO login on self-managed deployments, with a focus on user creation conflicts.
| Error Code | Description | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
SAML_DUPLICATE_USER_EMAIL_FOUND | This error occurs during SSO login when a user with an email address already associated with another user in the system. | The administrator must delete the existing user from Settings → User Management. |
ACCESS_MGMT_USER_EMAIL_IN_USE | This error occurs when attempting to configure Access Management permissions for a user whose email address is already associated with another user account in the system. | The administrator must delete the user from Access Management → Users list. |
Resolution Order
When resolving these conflicts, always:

Remove the user from Settings → User Management first

Then remove from Access Management → Users list

Ask the user to attempt SSO login again
