Setup for Discovery Scanning¶

For deployment on AWS, the connector for scanning AWS S3 is pre-configured. You can start using the connector for scanning AWS S3 data sources by configuring the targets to be scanned. Refer here for more information on Discovery Scanning.

Add Resource for Discovery Scanning¶

Once the AWS S3 data source Test Connection SUCCESS. You can follow the steps from here to add a resource for Discovery Scanning.

Resources can be added in the following formats for Discovery Scanning:

s3://folder_name

s3://folder_name/folder_child/

s3://folder_name/*

s3://folder_name/filename.format
