Steps for Adding a Multiple Resources for Discovery Scanning

  1. Navigate to the Discovery Module:

    • Open the Privacera portal.
    • Go to the Discovery module from the main menu.

  2. Add a New Resource:

    • Click the Add button.

  3. Configure Resource Details:

    • Enable the Multi Input toggle, which is disabled by default
    • Enter the Resources, one per line. Refer to the formats for adding resources here
    • Click the Save button to add the resource for scanning. This will create a single entry for the multiple inputs you added.

  4. Set Scan Parameters:

    • Define the Scan Type (e.g.Scan or Incremental).

  5. Initiate Scan:

    • Review the configured settings.
    • Once the resources are added, you can manually initiate a scan by clicking the SCAN RESOURCE button.

  6. Monitor Scan Progress:

    • Monitor the scan progress in the Scan Status section.
    • Review the scan results once the scan is complete by navigating through either Scan ID or Resource.
